The best "Day after Thanksgiving" sandwich in the world...!
Imagine, it's the day after The big turkey feast and there are the traditional leftovers in the fridge. Turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Every time I make one of these sandwiches for somebody, they go Nuts...! You gotta try them.
PROCESS:
Heat the turkey and stuffing in the microwave, just to take off the chill... Spread the bread on both sides with butter. Toast on the griddle until light brown on both sides. Spread the bread with mayonnaise
Top with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Top with the second slice of bread. Slice bread in half, from corner to corner. I find this sandwich is easier to eat if cut in quarters.
INGREDIENTS:
Recipe makes ONE Sandwich:
6 oz turkey, sliced thick
1/2 cup stuffing
1/4 cup cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 slices of Texas toast
